Keep a lawyer at the tenant’s side

Most tenants in eviction court stand alone, while most landlords bring a lawyer. Every gift and every volunteer hour helps us even that out, one hearing at a time.

Ways to stand with renters

  • Give

A one-time or monthly gift pays for filing fees, interpreters and a lawyer’s time at the courthouse.

  • Volunteer as a lawyer

Take a court-day shift or a case under our supervision. We train and support you.

  • Help at the desk

Bilingual neighbors help us greet tenants and translate during walk-in hours.

  • Host a talk

Invite us to your block meeting, church or library for the tenants’ rights talk.
