Our lawyers

The people at the walk-in desk

Three tenant lawyers and an advocate who speak with renters every day, in our office and in the hallways of Municipal Court.

  • Pauline Szeto, a woman with long dark hair in a white shirt, smiling

    Pauline Szeto

Staff Attorney, Repairs and Fair Housing

Handles repair, deposit and discrimination cases.

  • Dorothea Wrobel, a woman with long auburn hair, a lanyard and a leather tote, by a grey wall

    Dorothea Wrobel

    Tenant Advocate

Answers the phones, runs the walk-in hours and keeps every case on schedule.

A storefront clinic on Girard Avenue

We opened in a former corner store because that is where renters already walk. Most of our clients live within a few miles of the office, in Brewerytown, Francisville, Sharswood and North Philadelphia, and many find us through a neighbor who sat in the same chair.

We’re a nonprofit. We don’t charge our clients, and we don’t represent landlords.
