Henrietta Pilarski
Managing Attorney
Henrietta has led the clinic since it opened its storefront on Girard Avenue, and still takes a court-day shift every week.
Before the clinic, Henrietta spent years in a legal aid housing unit, where she argued eviction cases for years and trained the volunteers who now staff our court-day program. She gives the tenants’ rights talk at block meetings and libraries across the city.
She believes the most useful thing a tenant lawyer can do is be there early, before a notice turns into a judgment.
